At the July 19 field day of Mike Natvig and Amy Miller, Tom Frantzen demonstrated tagging a sow with a radio frequency identification (RFID) chip. Laura Krouse's field day July 23 dealt with CSA vegetable production, open-pollinated corn, and wetland establishment.

Paul Lasley's band provided dinner music after the wagon tour and before the workshops at the Neely-Kinyon field day. Paul and Karen Mugge's field day Aug. 22 covered four sites and a range of topics, from grain processing to prairie.  Click for more pictures.

The field day at the Dordt College Agricultural Stewardship Center featured a peek at beneficial insects that were attacking the soybean aphid. Steve Reinart's beef field day was Sept. 23 and featured Kit Pharo.

Ray Jensen conducted garden tours at the Sept. 28 field day of the Henry A. Wallace Country Life Center. On October 4, Don Adams and Nan Bonfils hosted a workshop on participatory corn breeding.  Click for more pictures.
